⅕ cupalmond butter, use sunbutter for nut free

⅖ tbspmaple syrup, or for sweeter option ¼ cup maple syrup and no apple sauce

⅕- ⅖ tbspapple sauce, test batter consistency first and add to get the texture you want

⅖ tbspchopped walnuts or pecans, optional (remove for nut free)

⅓ tspcinnamon

⅕ tspsea salt

⅕ tspground ginger

⅕ tspground cloves

1 ¼ tbspshredded coconut, optional for coating
