Nothing makes me happier at breakfast than a stack of my Nutella waffles. They’re crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside, and absolutely loaded with rich, chocolatey goodness. I love that these waffles are ready in under an hour and perfect for busy mornings. Plus, they’re easy to customize with vegan and gluten-free options!

0 Preheat the waffle machine.
1 Whisk the flour, baking powder and sugar in a mixing bowl.
2 In a separate mixing bowl add the oat milk, egg, vanilla extract, oil and nutella. Whisk until smooth.
3 Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and whisk until incorporated and no lumps, being careful not to overmix the batter.
4 Scoop the batter into the waffle machine, being careful not to over fill, and cook as directed by the manufacturer.
5 When the waffle is cooked remove and repeat with remaining batter. Batter makes 6 large waffles.
6 Serve topped with a drizzle of nutella, crushed hazelnuts, whipped cream or coconut cream or any of your favorite toppings.
